Health Insurance

Employees have the option to sign up for any of the group health insurance plans available. Coverage can be selected for the employee only or extended to include their spouse and children.

Lyquix subsidizes a significant portion of the health insurance premium, covering up to 76% of the cost. The exact subsidized amount varies depending on the selected plan but remains consistent regardless of whether the employee opts for individual coverage or includes dependents. However, the Lyquix subsidy for spousal coverage is available only if the spouse does not have access to health insurance through their own employer.

Dental Insurance

Employees may sign up for dental insurance from the group plans available. Lyquix provides a flat subsidy of $240 per year, which applies regardless of the selected plan or coverage level.

Long-Term Disability

Employees may sign up for the long-term disability benefit, which provides financial support in the event of a qualifying disability.

  • The benefit covers 60% of pre-disability earnings, up to $1,000 per week (whichever is lesser).
  • The benefit amount is reduced by any other income received during the period of disability.
  • Lyquix fully covers the cost of this benefit.

Life Insurance

Employees may sign up for the life insurance benefit. Lyquix fully covers the cost for a benefit of up to $50,000.

Commuter Benefits

Employees can set aside pre-tax dollars to pay for eligible commuting costs, including transit passes and parking expenses. This benefit helps reduce the overall cost of commuting. Lyquix covers up to $30 per month.

Critical illness insurance offers a lump-sum payment upon diagnosis of covered conditions such as heart attack, stroke, or cancer. Employees can use the benefit to manage medical costs or other financial needs.

Short-Term Disability

Short-term disability insurance provides partial income replacement for employees unable to work due to temporary medical conditions or injuries. This benefit helps bridge the gap until employees return to work or qualify for long-term disability coverage.
